The restaurant is located in a fifteenth-century former convent, set in an enviably beautiful position amidst the rolling landscape of the Florentine hills, where many years ago the road lead to an ancient religious site. The building has since been modernized and adapted to meet the diverse needs of its customers and can accommodate large functions such as banquets, graduation dinners, and wedding receptions as well as more modest occasions such as a romantic dinner or a business breakfast. At Edy Più customers can still appreciate traditional food which has been prepared using simple recipes and passionate hands. Excellent fresh food of the highest quality is our priority, and our menu reflects our passion for traditional, authentic Florentine recipes that draw inspiration from the rich culinary legacy of Tuscany. The menu is essentially composed of many classic dishes that are available all year around, and also dishes that are dependent on the season, such as those with truffles, mushrooms and game meats. This is a coocking that reinterprets traditional Tuscan recipes, lightens the taste and sometimes rivisitandole. The menu consists of basic courses that are open year round and others tied to the seasons, such as game, mushrooms and truffles. Edy's showpiece is the most large grid, on which they cook the best types of meat, including the true "Florentine" Chianina doc. Very special and accurate is the "great fried" white meat and vegetables. The various types of fresh pasta, as well as desserts and ice creams are homemade. The Wines...

The wines selection is very accurate, in fact we ofa decent range that we bear in an underground cellar. The selection can span of about 200 wines from the best crus of Tuscany and other Italian regions particularly suitable.
